Our book grew out of a course, “Visual Persuasion in the Law,” that we have been teaching since 2000 at Quinnipiac University Law School and, with Professor Richard Sherwin, since 2001 at New York Law School. The three collaborators in the ongoing course published a paper on our pedagogy, “Law in the Age of Images,” which appeared in A. Wagner, T. Summerfield, & F. Benavides (eds.), Contemporary Issues of the Semiotics of Law (Oñati International Series in Law and Society), 231-255 (2005). [click here to download]
